**** To test for an amateur radio license you must bring a copy of a photo ID, an FRN available free from FCC.gov and $15.00 for the testing fee. Tests will be given at regular club meetings which are held on the second Thursday of each month in Poplar Bluff. If you wish to be tested you must contact us prior to the meeting so we can be prepared.

The SEMO Amateur Radio Association will be holding a 4 week course where you can learn everything you need to earn your Technician FCC Amateur Radio License.

The Technician license is your gateway to the world-wide excitement of Amateur Radio …

… and you do NOT need to learn Morse code!

Ham radio is an essential part of emergency communications.

Classes begin Tuesday September 12 at 7 pm On ZOOM

Classes will be about 1.5 hours long each week, 20 hours personal study away from class needed to pass the test. A $15 testing fee required at the time of the final test. Books available for $25 each.
